We are very pleased to announce that Crushed will have its world premiere at the Montreal World Film Festival being held 27 August – 7 September 2015 as a part of the First Films World Competition for debut filmmakers.
Montreal World Film Festival is the only competitive film festival in North America recognized by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF). The prestigious cinematic event presents films from 86 different countries and has an attendance of 350,000+ people. It aims to encourage cultural diversity and understanding between nations, to promote filmmakers and innovative works, to discover and encourage new talents, and to promote meetings between cinema professionals from around the world.
Our inclusion in the program will help kick off a strong festival release before our Australian theatrical release in early 2016.

Crushed has been accepted into the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival
Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival has announced the lineup of feature films for its 2015 season. The festival runs at Eastern Hills Cinemas Friday, November 6th – Thursday, November 12th.
Vancouver International Women in Film Festival 2016

Crushed has also been accepted into the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival being held 8-14 March 2016. Crushed screens in the Women in Genre section and will be followed by a Q&A with our director Megan Riakos and a ‘whodunit’ wine reception to assist in the investigation of women in genre.
Crushed screens on Friday 11 March 2016 at VIFF’s Vancity Theatre.

Crushed has been accepted into the Miami International Film Festival being held 4-13 March 2016. We are lucky enough to screen as a part of the Lee Brian Schrager's Culinary Cinema section where cinema goers are treated to a dinner inspired by Crushed while watching the film!!
